Auckland Botanic Gardens covers 65 hectares and is home to over 10,000 plants from around the world. Stroll around the garden paths and discover the extensive displays of native and introduced plants have attracted international interest.
Auckland Botanic Gardens is a young garden by world standards, but there unique designs are creating a garden of distinctive character. Visitors may see award winning roses, the spring blossom valley, the rock garden and the New Zealand native plant collection, including threatened native plants.
Special attractions include the Potter Children's Garden, the Threatened Plant Garden and a splendid magnolia collection. If you are after a refreshing drink or a bite to eat, stop in at Café Miko, which has sweeping views of the gardens and is open for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
